MANAGE YOUR TIME, NOT YOUR TO-DO LIST ———————————– …with a beautiful user interface, unlike any to do app you’ve seen. Put Things Off is simple, fast, and fun. TO DO OR NOT TO DO? ——————- That is the question: whether to do it today or put it off? Put Things Off lets you choose with one tap. Prioritising has never been so simple or so fun. ADD TASKS FAST ————– Create tasks directly in the tray you’re viewing. Adding a task in Put Things Off doesn’t feel like filing your taxes, like it can in some to-do apps. EDIT WITH ONE TAP ————— Tap a task once to modify it, in any tray or stack. Because correcting typos should be easier than fighting dragons. DRAG AND DROP ——————- Reorder tasks by picking them up and putting them down again. Like in real life. You remember real life, right? This will be easy, then. STACK RELATED TASKS —————— Group related tasks with a new and amazing feature called ‘Stacks’. Tap and hold a task to lift it, then drag and drop it on the center of another task to create a stack. Stacks can be dragged, filed, and deleted like regular tasks. To open a stack, just tap it. Once you stack, you never go back. ADD TASKS ONLINE —————- Web Tasks let you send new to dos from your web browser straight to the Inbox on your iPhone. You can even watch them arrive live! Sign up within the app, then visit ptoff.com to start adding tasks. It’s free for 30 days. Extend your subscription with an in-app purchase. (No subscription is required to keep using the other features in Put Things Off.) SEE WHERE YOU’RE AT —————– New live trays fill up as you add tasks and empty as you remove or file them, giving you a feel for how busy you are at-a-glance. ORGANIZE YOUR WEEK —————— Drag tasks in the ‘Put Off’ tray between headers for the next 5 days to organize your time in a flash. MULTITASKING AND RETINA SUPPORT —————————– Put Things Off looks even prettier on the iPhone 4, and iOS 4 users will enjoy multi-tasking support for faster switching and start up. “Putting Things Off” is a great application to help keep you organized and prioritized in every aspect of your life.

Being a person who stresses a lot over little things, I love being able to make lists. With “Putting Things Off” I can make lists and arrange them with the most important ones on top and the ones that can wait until later at the bottom, or in a completely new folder. Having something to physically check off or write down when I have finished something, or need to do something helps me feel organized and successful once I have checked them all off.

Figuring out how to use this application is simple and intuitive. To add a new task you click the plus sign in the upper right hand corner. When you do this a little post-it note appears with the keyboard, for you to enter in your task and date. Once you have completed entering the task you simply click save. Now, at the bottom of the post-it note, a star appears in the bottom left corner and an arrow appears in the bottom right corner. If you click the star it moves the note from your inbox into you’re “today” box. If you click the arrow it moves into the “put off” box. Under settings you can change the length of time a task can be put off for, whether it be 1 to 31 days.

Once you have moved your task to the “today” or “put off” box, a check mark appears in the bottom right hand corner. If you click the check mark, the task moves into the “done” box. Once a task is in the “done” box you can either delete it by clicking the trash can in the bottom right hand corner, or click the star to move it back into the “today” box. To delete a task when it is in another box you have to click the post-it note, then click the black “x” in the upper left hand corner and the task will disappear.
