One of PopCaps most alarmingly addictive online games has now come to iOS devices. The game’s simple user interface, which only has two game play buttons, makes the game easy but the goal of the game is where the challenges arise.

The goal of the game is to shoot 10 silver balls from the rotating nozzle at the colored pegs. To rotate and the nozzel, you can either use the click wheel on the right side of the screen, or tap the playing field in the desired location. To shoot the balls you tap the orange button above the click wheel. To win a level, you must clear all the orange pegs on the playing field. Every stage has a different Peggle master, who each have different powers that are activated by hitting a green peg. Some master’s powers last for several shots, others only last for one. To know how many shots you have left with the power, there is a number located above the masters head indicating that number.

In addition to orange and green pegs, there are also purple pegs. These pegs give you a point boost. One advantage to point boosts, is after you have gained a certain number of points, you will receive a free ball. Another way to receive free balls is by having the ball land in the moving bucket at the bottom of the screen.

Once you have beat a level, by clearing all the orange pegs, there are 5 holes in the bottom of the screen, valued at 10k, 50k and 100k points, that catch your ball and add that value to your total score for that level.
