Help Flo in another fun and exciting, Dash adventure as she is working in a kitchen to help out a friend.
By Christina Burlini
Cooking Dash is similar to the other Dash games in the fact that Flo is the main character and she has a dilema to overcome. In this game, Flo is working in the kitchen and she has to serve costumers a variety of food they ask for. Her options are to cook various side items and meats on the stove, make sandwiches, ice cream cones or smoothies or serve them donuts. She can add hot sauce or green sauce to most items, but only does so when she is asked to.
In challenge mode, Flo has starts out with 5 stars and every time a customer leaves unsatisfied, she loses a star. If slow loses all 5 stars, the level is over and she must start over. Customers enter the restaurant and it is your job to seat them in the proper seating arrangements. Every customer has a color and in the earlier levels all the seats start out gray, which is not associated with a customers color. Later on in more difficult levels, some seats start out with colors and if you match a customers’ color with a chairs’ color, you get bonus points. Once a customer has been seated they take a few seconds to look at the menu and then they order. It is now your job to make the customers order and deliver it in a timely manner. After a customer is done with their meal it is your job to clear their place setting and dump their dishes in the trash.
Throughout the level you are given the opportunity to upgrade various items. A few examples of things you can upgrade are the seats, by adding more, you can add a juke box to play music and keep your customers happier, nearly eliminating the possibility for them to leave unsatisfied, or upgrade Flo’s speediness, making her get from place to place quicker.
Over all story mode plays out in the same fashion except there are a set number of customers you have to serve in one level and upgrades are available at the end of each level.
