Camera Plus is more than the regular camera application that normally comes with the iPhone. Getting a clear picture can be difficult with the regular camera on the phone because it does not capture movement well. With Camera Plus you can choose 4 different settings for taking the picture, helping the clarity and timing of the picture. The 4 settings are normal, stabilizer, timer and burst. Normal is no different than the regular camera application that comes with the phone. Stabilizer is my favorite setting because it doesn’t take the picture until the perfect moment, when you’re camera is stable. With this application it reduces blur and increases the quality of the picture. The timer setting is a self timer like most digital cameras have and counts down for 5 seconds before it takes the picture. This setting is great for capturing pictures when you don’t have a photographer who can take the picture for you. With the time setting you can place your phone nearly anywhere and then you have 5 seconds to get into place and the phone will take the picture itself. Burst is a setting that increases the shutter speed to help you get multiple pictures in a short period of time. This setting is useful if you are trying to capture a moving picture but don’t have time to focus or set up your camera, you can just take multiple pictures at once and you will most likely end up with one that you like.

Aside from the 4 settings that you can choose when taking the picture, there are numerous other setting you can choose when editing the picture. This feature is my favorite because you can’t edit pictures like this without purchasing an additional application, whereas with Camera Plus you can take the picture, and edit it all in one application. Not only can you edit pictures you have captured with Camera Plus but you can also take pictures from your camera roll and photo library and edit them too. With the edit feature you can change the lighting of the original picture, adjust the allignement by flipping or rotating the picture, crop the picture, or add special effects and borders.
